So, to the one who reads this, to Dontai's comment about ppl putting a cross in their bio, I wanna say a few things. 1 - Ik Dontai has never been religious, so it doesn't surprise me. 2. - To Dontai, I apologize to you on behalf of those who bear Christ's name in vain, but their actions do not align with who he is. Those who do not bear the fruits of the Spirit are not the children of God. Those fruits being Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Goodness, faithfulness, Gentleness, Kindness, and Self-control. What hits hard, though, is him bashing my faith bc he thinks prayers are useless. He's clearly blinded by the idea that followers of Christ are meant to be perfect. While I can sit here and quote the Bible all day about things we are told not to do, the main quote I want to use is Proverbs 2:4: "The Godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again. But one disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked." Why this scripture? Well, I think it speaks to who we are, the whole point of the Bible is that we were saved WHILE we were still sinners. This is important bc though we have been gifted grace and forgiven for our past, we still fall, and unfortunately, those failures usually involve other people. I'm not justifying the fakers, but again I say, we fall, and when we fall, we are taught that the Holy Spirit gives us conviction. It's that feeling of knowing what you did was messed up and repent and change your heart back to God the Father. To wrap this up, this isn't about who's right or wrong; it's about the power of Prayer. The Father hears, and he answers, but even sometimes No is an answer. Don't bash prayer bc some people were mean to you. You're a grown man, and you're bigger than that, whether you believe or not.
