why is nudity so rare in most of the animations?
"Exquisite!" This was a careful adaptation of a spicy comic. No criticisms from me. This is another praiseworthy piece of work from Jawalowo. The dialogue at the start was true to the original source. I'm not brushing off the irony of the "take a deep breath" line. I can very much hear Gwen's breathing. Gasps, gulping, and gagging. It all serves to immerse the audience. A pretty great creative choice. Much like the decision to have the possessed Gwen's lines differ from the comic. It gives us a more honest Ghostfreak, in my opinion. The perspective shots of the animation do followed the comic panels direction! The character models were ( not to over use this) exquisite. The "Ghostfreak" model looked very much from the original show. Gwen's model not only shared likeness, but had "emphasis" placed in the right places. Side note: A detail I very much appreciate from Jawa. The model's movements and poses help exhilarate this whole thing! Body language from both models is done well. Gwen's fear and unease. Ghostfreak is very much a looming predator; boasting sneaking up successfully on her. The possession scene itself does bring the comic version to life. In this animation, the possession panels from the comic are translated exceptionally, and then some. The struggle that plays out; tells us everything without words. When Ghostfreak attacks, she is very much gulping him down, before she grasps her throat to try and stop him. But when her back and arms arch backwards, she's very much surprised as that decision wasn't hers. Ghostfreak has already made enough wiggle room inside her; to fend off her resistance. When she brings her hand up and stops( combined with the look on her face), it's more likely a sign of Ghostfreak's increasing control over her. We get the final perspective shot. Her hands just sort of wafting, in front of her. Here it means, Ghostfreak prevents her from using them. Rather than simply Gwen watching helplessly because she wouldn't be able to grab him anyway. In the comic version, you might say she didn't physically grab him due to his intangibility. But thanks to the voice acting and model performances, Ghostfreak isn't just some intangible entity. A breeze rushing towards his prize. All the noises we hear make sense because he's physically present throughout this. In the original spicy comic, the final gulp was but a small panel on the top left. Side note: I'm not criticizing the comic. Karra fit so much in their work. "This is pretty good, too!" But in Jawa's animation, this moment fills up the whole screen. Ghostfreak emerges, pleased with his spoils. Two moments I appreciated that I absolutely want to point out. 1.)When Ghostfreak begins to force himself down Gwen's throat, her head bobs a little. It is a detail that makes him, to some degree, a physical entity. He's forcing her to swallowing him. 2.) The final gulp, which is zoomed into. As the last of Ghostfreak's tail disappears past Gwen's lips, you can still follow it's journey. The model is animated visibly swallowing the last bit of Ghostfreak. That attention to detail is what I personally thank Jawalowo for. Props to you, Jawa! Seriously. TL;DR The popular spicy comic's panels are translated beautifully for animation. The creative choices of Jawalowo make this animation completely praiseworthy. Ghostfreak being a physical presence helps tie everything together. Insert "The emperor's new groove: Pacha meme" here?A chef's kiss? However one might try to sum up Jawalowo's attention to the details of his work, this is further proof of Jawa's credibility as an animator!
